Hong Kong, New York, Tokyo — Kiyori. Officially the People's Republic of Kiyori, it is a metropolitan area & special administrative region located on the coast of the Asian continent. With 8 million residents of various nationalities, Kiyori is one of the most densely populated places in the world. Developed into the urban landscape that it is today, it was once an imperial kingdom named after its ruling family, with many migrants coming to settle & make a new life for themselves within the city walls. Over time, said royal family was phased out, with Kiyori adopting a democratize style of government. Today, most of the descendants of the original first family have gone into politics, business & other lucrative ventures, & the name 'Kiyori' is still prominently plastered on buildings all across the city.
A center of modern Asian popular culture, Kiyori hosts a myriad of iconic musicians, actors & other creative minds, with some boasting international success. While crime is tightly controlled in the city, there are exceptions to the rule, & in recent years the presence of an organized syndicate has been steadily growing in the back alleys of the red light district. Growing everyday, Kiyori hopes to continue to set an example of unity & overall excellence for the rest of the continent, showing that it's citizens can co-exist in harmony, despite their different backgrounds.
